On Monday, Apple released its long-awaited updates to its operating systems, following their WWDC introduction. One day later, and it’s brought out updates to Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
The iWork updates, appearing in the App Store for iOS and the Mac App Store, aren’t as extensive as their operating system counterparts. Indeed, for Pages and Numbers for macOS, the 14.2 update for each lists the update as containing “bug fixes and performance improvements.”
This is largely because an update to iPadOS 18 now allows users to download apps from third-party app stores on the iPad. Of course, this is restricted exclusively to the EU as part of Apple’s push to comply with regulators.
The Epic Game Store for iOS was previously green lit by Apple in early July but only after the publisher complained that Apple shot the app down over issues with the interface.
