
Seven years after its launch, Nintendo is choosing to sunset its “Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp” in the fall — but players shouldn’t fret just yet.

In 2017, Nintendo launched Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, a free-to-play social game set in the Animal Crossing series. Now, almost exactly seven years after its launch, the game will be drawing to a close.
“Since service began on November 21st 2017, for approximately seven years we have been honored to see everyone’s lovely, diverse campsites grow and flourish,” Nintendo wrote in a statement, spotted by MacRumors. “We extend our heartfelt thanks to the many users who have loved Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.“
