Apple has released iPadOS 17.5 with no user-facing updates beyond support for new iPad models and their feature set.

All eyes are on the EU and Apple’s compliance with the DMA, so recent operating system updates have not had many features focused on the iPad. However, Apple did introduce new iPads and accessories during a video event on May 7, which means iPadOS 17.5 includes support for those products and features.
Everyone else gets iPadOS 17.5, but there aren’t any user-facing features. The usual bug fixes and performance improvements are cited in the release notes.
