Action adventure game “Control Ultimate Edition” will be landing on macOS early next year, with the release set for February 12, 2025.
Control – Image credit: RemedyRemedy Entertainment’s Control Ultimate Edition is one of the major games that has repeatedly been referenced as part of Apples push for gaming on Mac. In Remedy’s Capital Markets Day presentation on Tuesday, it revealed when it will ship.
The presentation to investors and analysts mentioned that Control Ultimate Edition will be released on Mac on February 12th, 2025. The news was also part of a summary on the developer’s Bluesky account.

Apple has issued point releases for its operating systems, including iOS 18.1.1, iPadOS 18.1.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1.1, and visionOS 2.1.1.
Currently-tested Apple Intelligence featuresThe updates for iOS 18.1.1, iPadOS 18.1.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1.1, and visionOS 2.1.1 have been made available on Tuesday.
The version number change indicates the updates are not ones with major feature changes. Instead, the smaller version uptick signifies smaller changes, and often includes security fixes and compatibility changes.
