Apple TV+ has been hit with a small round of layoffs as eight people who worked in kids content were let go on Tuesday.

The cuts included music, production, and development for children’s programming. It is likely that the layoffs have come as Apple TV+ ended its contract with Skydance Animation, which happened in October.

According to Deadline, the fraction is pretty small compared to overall staff as the company remains dedicated to the genre. Apple TV+ has released more than 60 original kids titles since launch, and recently announced a raft of new children’s shows.

Apple enthusiasts can now experience the much-anticipated Apple Vision Pro in augmented reality (AR) through the Apple Store app as the tech giant gears up to reveal in-store availability details for its spatial computer.

Eager Apple fans have a unique opportunity to virtually engage with the Apple Vision Pro before its official launch. Users can explore the device in a simulated environment using the augmented reality feature in the Apple Store app on iPhones and iPads.

Inside the Apple Store app is a section for the Apple Vision Pro. Tap on that, then scroll down to find a section called “View in your space.” The preview allows for a detailed product examination from various angles, complete with realistic shadows.

In a significant cybersecurity incident, Trello, the popular project management tool, was at the center of a data breach in January.

An extensive user data cache was scraped from the platform and surfaced for sale on a well-known hacking forum. The breach on January 16, 2024, compromised a staggering 15,111,945 accounts, exposing sensitive information, including users’ email addresses, names, and usernames.

The method to extract this data involved enumerating a publicly accessible resource on Trello. The perpetrators used email addresses obtained from previous breaches, indicating a sophisticated approach to targeting and exploiting vulnerabilities in the system.
