“Argylle”, which stars Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa, and Samuel L. Jackson among others, originally premiered in cinemas back in February. The limited run was intended to qualify for potential award nominations, and did not attract a big movie audience.
According to Reelgood’s rankings, “Argylle” has now outperformed Max’s “The Zone of Interest,” Hulu’s “Poor Things,” and Peacock’s “Oppenheimer” for the week of April 11th. The action-comedy-romance movie debuted on Apple TV+ on April 12th.
“Argylle” centers around Elly Conway (played by Bryce Dallas Howard) — a reclusive cat-loving author of a series of bestselling espionage novels about glamorous secret agent Argylle (Henry Cavill).
