An example of an iPhone game controllerOn April 5, Apple updated its App Store rules to reverse a policy that prohibited emulators from being distributed within the storefront. The policy meant gamers who wanted to use emulators had to use other ways to be able to play the older games on the iPhone or iPad.
With the change, the App Store will probably gain a collection of emulators over time. However, avid gamers wanting to enjoy the retro titles will not be too pleased about gaming on a touchscreen.

Apple does not allow third-party apps to use the cameras on Apple Vision Pro, and developers are complaining about it.
Developers are locked out of cameras and other sensors on the Apple Vision ProApple Vision Pro did not see an iPhone-like explosion of new, dedicated headset apps upon its launch, but by February 2024 there were over 1,000 native apps on the visionOS App Store. It’s still very many and while it is still early days, some developers are complaining that they are being restricted by Apple’s privacy rules.
